love this! A real sense of the dramatic setting and idyllic isolation. Trying to imagine what this looks like 6 months on from the time of year you took this. A vision in white I expect. Awesome place!

hello Trevor ,
This house looks so lost and tiny in this wide wild landscape ; with the wooden posts in the FG , that gives a touch of humanity .

Hello Trevor - A dramatic and distinctive landscape and all the more so under this cloudy sky. The place looks quite inhospitable and yet here stands a tiny house which seems to be watched over and protected by the rough terrain and mountain. If one is looking for an isolated life, this has to be the place!
I love the colours here, they are so off-beat and unusual and through them all the contours of the land are wonderfully apparent. Great shot.

Hello Trevor, haha, how tiny looks this house against the mountains. Does someone really lives there? Must feel very lonely. Amazing shot.

The dark grey sky and low light create a sense of drama that is very appropriate to the subject, which could be a scene straight from The Lord of the Rings. The landscape takes on a sculptured look appearing as if in 3-D. Great stuff!

amazing landscape and so very typical for Iceland! The tiny house on the slope seems to be vulnerable against this powerful nature surrounding it yet it adds very important element to the whole composition. I like the small white fence at the bottom of the picture which frames it very neatly.
Great colors, sharpness and well balanced contrast.
Thanks for sharing

Nice contrast between the small house and the mountain surrounding it. I love the colours of the grassy slopes of the mountain.
