Great view given by your wide lens, from this point of view it looks like a volcano.
It's well done,

Like the light around this place, the colours are quite sharp..the layers in the mountains in the BG.. well almost adds an apt dimension..overall a commendable finish..good theme and use of the element..the clouds looks as if they are trying to kiss the ground :)
Good job and well worked out :)

Not usually a fan of subjects being centered in the frame, but in this case it works very well. Fantastic clouds & well captured.

nice cloud pattern in the sky, maybe too centered.

What a beautiful shot John!
Wonderful natural colors and pinsharp. I love the cloud formation, it looks almost like steam coming out of the mountain.

A marvellous shot John. I thought it was an active volcano from the thumbnail. The low horizon works well here and there is lots of detail in the clouds.

Hi John, that┤s an amzing cloud, looks more like a volcano eruption! wonderful contrast between the white cloud and the deep blue sky. Regards, Johannes

Like much of this island, I would guess that Hvannadalshn˙kur is a volcanic formation? The very small amount of ground is just enough to add the extra contrast, color and variety needed to balance the photo before setting the main emphasis on the huge cloud formations. They are photographed very clearly and sharply. The soft textures are a great highlight. The framing technique is good - the basic white is the best 'colour' to enclose this beautiful scene. I hope to someday visit Iceland, how long does it take to fly there from England, I suppose it is not as isolated as I might consider it? Thank you for this post and also your kind comments on my previous photo.

I am sure this one would look amazing as large format print. It looks like the mountains have breathed out some clouds. I like the clouds are centered in the frame, as it helps to provide the sense of scale/size of the clouds. Well done John.
