Picture of Skaftafellsjokull glacier taken from the top of Kristinartindur (1126m).
The glacier has been receding in recent years and over the past 50 years has lost nearly 1km of its length.
I reached this prominent outlook point with a seven hours hike from the visitor centre of the national park.

A great view! What a landscape! You managed the difficult light conditions here very well. The different diagonal lines in this picture work very well. A wonderful photo!

I would try to offset WB to get less blueish cloud shadows

Hi Matteo. Impressive sight, good capture. Now I hope that the glacier will stay there for still a long time (despite the bad previsions). You did a lot of effort and it surely was worth it.

Very nice POV and I like very much the different sets and colours of the rocks and the snow. But the blue of the sky is not looking natural enough IMO.
