Photographer’s Note
This morning, whilst waiting for a train from Budapest to Szeged at Nyugati station I walked into a McDonalds for the first time since my children were small, about 10-15 years ago. This may be McDonalds, but it's not as we know it. The grand Eifel designed buffet at Nyugati station was the first McOutlet in Hungary, and the deal was obviously designed to keep the monstrous company in check. The grand interior is pretty much intact, with furnishings and comfortable seating to match. I only had a coffee, so I can't comment on whether the food is similarly out-of-step with the standard McExperience.

Hello Richard,
This is indeed an unusual MacDonalds, may be the food is also unusual (edible). The composition, colors and resolution all collaborate to depict what may be the most extraordinary restaurant in the chain.

Hello Richard,
Thanks for this glimpse of an interesting and rather unusual McDonalds. I like the downwards point of view and the vertical format. Interesting to see the stepped levels and the ornate lamps.

You have an elegant picture of a very smart and un-Mac interior, Richard. It has some of the feel of a continental cafe. However, it would take more than smart decor to make me enter a mac-joint. Nice image though! Regards kevin

the men in the low right hand corner are talking, something that does not occur in a Mc-experience! The place seems to be invinting, not that rush rush feeling usually attached to the other McDonalds.
Perhaps the most different restaurant of the chain!
