The Fisherman's Bastion - a terrace in neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque style - is one of the many sights with a panoramic view in Budapest, situated on a hill above the Danube. It was built between 1895 and 1902 and
takes its name from the guild of fishermen which was responsible for defending this stretch of the city walls in the Middle Ages.
Apart from offering a great view of Budapest, it´s also a popular place for tourists to take a short break and think about what the rest of the day is going to bring... |

A different view on the bastion! :)
I like the way you present the daily life and show a historical sight in one photo. The coloumn in the middle separates these two parts well. I like the cropping and the sharp details too.
I sent Didier a ws on thursday, but I think it fits more this photo. I just don't want to post it once more...

I see that we used the same technique. Some "known people" to frame some architectural gems of the city.
Weel framed and perfectly exposed shot even with the pillar in the middle of it. I've seen your excellent pov thanks to our friend, Marci. (:D
