Photographer’s Note
Central Europe and its countries like Hungary, Austria, Czechia can often be associated with these street musicians you can find in many places. This one with his violin was member of a trio who was perfoming on the chain bridge, the most remarkable bridge uniting Buda and Pest. During the summer week ends this bridge is turned into a pedestrian area with many stands and attractions, a nice place to enjoy.

Hello Jean-Yves,

Excellent portrait of this violinist of Budapest.
The sharpness and colors are just perfect.
The blurred BG highlights the subject.
Wonderful Work .Congrats and TFS!

bonjour JY,

yes, these guys gave a beautiful atmosphere to the bridge, very rustic. This is a nice portrait, he is so concetrated.
Capturing the spirit of Budapest? ;)

Hello Jean-Yves,
A good portrait of this violinist, who strikes an interesting pose and has a good expression full of concentration. Good use of depth of field to lift him from the background and yet maintain the context of the surroundings.

Bonjour Jean Yves,
These street musicians are determinative in nearly every Hungarian cities and towns.
You captured very well this violin player and his emotions and relation to his instrument. I also like the colourful ribbons as background "decoration".
TFS!
Best wishes,
Marci

bonjour jean yves

Hi Jean Yves,
What's this man...a portrait..!!! ;-)
Great to see instead of the work we normally see from your hand. Seeing some workshops you did the trick of portrait is not that difficult for you.
The background is a bit disturbing, But he man and his pose is very nice.

Hi JY,
I, as a beginner, would have chosen f/2.8 for this portrait. Then either the face or the violin would have a lack of sharpness. The master uses f/3.5 to have all the person in focus :)
you know how to treat the camera :)
Compliments, Chris

Hello JY!
A very nice new picture, I like this one a lot. The scene is great and you took the photo in the exactly right moment. The colors are really bautiful and I like the contrast they make to each other. The man is perfectly sharp, good choice of f/3.5 and I like the expression in his face a lot.
You always bring something new to this page and your photos are great, I like that really much. So I´ll add you as a favorite member :-)
Best regards and have a nice day,
Jonas
