ich fliege ausgerechnet morgen nach Budapest.
hoffentlich bekomme ich auch gutes wetter, wobei die wettervoraussagen starke regenfaelle melden!

interessante note und guter auge fuer dieses denkmal.

Interessante Gaschichte diese Herren. Das Bild unter den schattigen Bäumen hat einen guten Kontrast. Dadurch, das das Gesicht im Dunklen ist, sieht es fast etwas unheimlich aus.

A good capture of this statue of a mystery man. I like the point of view with the diagonal placement of the steps and plinth and the framing from the shrub on the right. The dappled light adds further interest. Very good clarity.

The statue and the garden are very nice, but I find the POV/framing and the light management and colours quite amazing. Congratulations!

Hallo Ulf,
Anonymus ist die Figur der ungarischen Kulturgeschichte, die jeder Ungar kennt, obwohl sein Leben (geboren in Ostungarn oder woanders, Studien in Paris oder woanders), seine Stellung (Mönch, Bischof?), sein Alter (Notar von König Béla - es gab aber 4 Könige mit diesem Namen), sogar sein eigentlicher Name ziemlich unklar sind. (Darauf deutet der Bildhauer damit, dass das Gesicht nicht sichtbar ist.) Und noch dazu hat es sich langsam herausgestellt, dass seine Gesta eher ein Märchen als eine richtige historische Quelle ist. (Ungefähr genauso zuverlässig wie die Reinhardsbrunner Chronik in Deutschland.) Aber trotzdem: eine liebe Figur unserer Geschichte. (Richard Löwenherz war einer der schlechtesten und verantwortungslosesten Könige Englands, trotzdem bis heute sehr beliebt.)
Und noch etwas zum Bild: mir gefällt sehr, dass Anonymus hier nicht damatisiert, eher nachdenklich erscheint. Ich habe viele falsche Interpretationen gesehen, endlich eine richtige Darstellung. Ich gratuliere Dir dazu!

Hi Ulf,

shooting the shadow in a sunny day is not an easy task since there is always a high light contrast but here you made good use of an artifice which fill the image with the shadow area so that the camera will calculate the light correctly. It's an effecttive shot of the statue, with good perspective and a nice green environment. Good work!

I like the frming of this mysterious statue, standing out on the trees BG. no people there is good luck. You got reasonable sharpness despite the slow shutter speed.
