Night photo taken at Fisherman's Bastion...
The Halászbástya or Fisherman's Bastion is a terrace in neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque style situated on the Buda bank of the Danube, on the Castle hill in Budapest, around Matthias Church. It was designed and built between 1895 and 1902 on the plans of Frigyes Schulek. Its seven towers represent the seven Magyar tribes that settled in the Carpathian Basin in 896.
The Bastion takes its name from the guild of fishermen which was responsible for defending this stretch of the city walls in the Middle Ages. It is a viewing terrace, with many stairs and walking path

Hello Bartosz,
I like very much this image of the archway leading down the staircase in the Halászbástya, with the contrasting areas of light and shadow. The star pattern made by the lights adds a measure of mystique to the image, and the note complements the photograph very nicely.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hello Bartosz,
I've seen you've made a lot of beautiful pictures in Hungary. But this one is really very beautiful.
For me this is an unusual picture of the Fisherman's Bastion and a real good one.
The sharpness is excellent. I like the composition and you knew how to create a special effect with the star pattern created by the lamps.
Congratulations !
Regards from Belgium, Paul
