Photographer’s Note
Széchenyi lánchíd or Széchenyi Chain Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. It was the first permanent bridge across the Danube in Budapest, and was opened in 1849.
The bridge is named after István Széchenyi, a major supporter of its construction. At the time of its construction, it counted as a wonder of the world. It had an enormous significance in the country's economics and life. Its decorations made of cast iron, and its construction, radiating calm dignity and balance, raised it among the most beautiful industrial monuments in Europe. It became a symbol of advancement, national awakening, and the linkage between East and West.

Hello Agnes. Superb conversion in black and white with pleasant contrast and saturation. I like the glow of light on top of the building with dreamy background of the sky. Well done and best regards. Jusni

One more recherchι PoV dear Agnes!
I don't know if the colour version was better for a view like this but I am satisfied with this B&W. It seems like a view from the past! The DoF is also great for f/4.4.
Except your happy face in your intro's portrait, I can see your smile after visiting your gallery!
Warm regards,
Athanasios.

Hi Agnes,
great shot!
really a fine and interesting city and your photo gives justice to it. A good idea to make it into W.&B., it reminds of an old postcard.

Ciao bella
I remember very well Budapest, and maybe in my memories, I find some image just like that one, in B/W.
You just realized this, perhaps, one day... I will come back there.

Salam Agnes,
As a bridge engineer, this is my favourite photo! Initially, I wished the bridge was in the middle of the shot, but I noticed that you needed to show that beautiful old building with the dome as well, so the POV is acceptable, especially I love the trees in foreground of the shot.
The lack of contrast should be because of humid weather. I'll try to do some workshop on both B/W and Colour photos later to see if we can improve it.
I knew that Hungary is a beautiful country and one day I'll come to visit your city hopefully, but I was not aware that Budapest comprises two regions, Buda and Pest.
See you later (maybe one day in Budapest near the Danube), Sohail.

Hello Agnes,
My first move was to check your workshop hoping for a deep blue colour as this shot demands it.
According to the WS though, I thing you chose wisely converting this one in B/W.
Better luck next time with a crystal clear weather.
Tip: chose winter where the wind blows from north crystal clear atmosphere to describe this.
Many Regards
Stelios
