This is the staircase of the world famed Museum of Applied Arts of Budapest (located in an art nouveau palace designed by Odon Lechner).
I hope you will detect the intercultural quotations of this architecture (Lechner as fan of Eastern cultural achievements cited some decorative elements of Indian and Arabic art and mix them with traditionally Hungarian folk motives). |
