This is the Fishermens' Bastion in Buda castle designed by Frigyes Schulek.
For me on a certain night it was the background of a realized fairy tale. This photo can be seemed as proof of my affection to kitsch. Yes, I know it, but I think this place is simply sweet, like charmful and breathtaking, sophisticated, rich-in-taste Hungarian desserts, e.g. Somloi galuska, Gerbeaud cake, Eszterhazy cake...etc. composed in the 'Belle epoque' when the Bastion was erected.
They were created in a decadent era just to amaze you. That's all. |
