Bonjour George

Good morning George!
Here I like especially the POV which makes the village a coulisse for the windmill - and I like the natural colours in the scenery. According to yout note this must be an interesting place.
Greetings from the spa Bad Meinberg!

Hi George,
Aaaah a windmill, an all time favorite ! Windmills have been very popular on TE sme years ago...
Lovely one, well maintained of course given the location and well framed here to have the image dynamic lead the eye to it.
Have a nice day JY

Hello George,
One has the practice of the Dutch mills and less that of the Hungarian mills, and yet, they must be numerous too. This one is impressive by contrast between its very broad base and its reduced roof. It resembles a large mushroom, a big boletus. Beautiful work.
Have anice day

Szia George,
a non-dutch one, that is great, even I like those wonderful mills from there. The light is very well taken and the view to the village with the mill at the side lovely. Thanks for the wonderful note including historical and technical information about the mill, interesting history.
The workshop one would be worth an own posting I think.

Hi George!
The Netherlands with so many windmills would be proud to have such a "huge" mountan....
A well composed image taken from a good POV.The sandroad leading the eyes to the farm gives a good depth to the image.

Hello George,
This is a well balanced composition, where the windmill and the farm make great forground interest on background with the village in the hill!
The good looking windmill is of course the eye-catcher, and is captured with fine details...
I notice the fine light, and the gravel road makes a nice lead-in!
