Photographer’s Note

This shot was taken at night in the main square of Vác.
On the left you can see the historic building of the Church of the Whites and the convent (Március 15. Square). They got their name after the white reverend worn by Dominican monks. They started to build their church in 1699; however, due to the Rákóczi War of Independence the work with the interior decoration began only in 1755. With its plain outlook, the one-naveled church is in harmony with the atmosphere of the square, while its interior Rococo decoration is much richer. The unique Baroque burial place was found in the cript of the church by archeologists. It is exhibited in the medieval cellar of the Greek Church. The neighbouring building was originally the nunnery of the Dominicans.

Widze, ze jestes najlepszym przykladem powiedzenia: Polak Wegier dwa bratanki! To masz ciekawa historie. Milo cie poznac. Co do zdjecia to mozna troche pomarudzic. Po pierwsze jest krzywo. Nalezaloby wyrownac do lini prostych. I wiecej ostrosci tez bym dal. A architektura widze ciekawa. I jeszcze ze swiatecznymi akcentami.

Belle photo de cette place de nuit et sous la neige, jolies couleurs et bonne netteté.
Bienvenue sur TE et bonne continuation, ne vous découragé surtout pas, il faut du temps et de la patience, écouté bien les conceils de certains, vous apprendrez beaucoup.

Végre ide jutottam!
Jó, jó lett, jól néz ki! Tetszenek a fények, a színek, de fantasztikus lett a keret is!
Esetleg egy kicsit élesíthetted volna még. A Fehérek templomának dupla "vonulatai" azt éreztetik, mintha egy kicsit bemozdult volna, pedig erről itt szósincs.
Még valami... Szerintem előnyösebb lett volna, ha egy kicsit hátrébb mentél volna és balra tartottad volna a gépet. Jobb lett volna, ha látszódik a torony is, viszont nem látszódott volna a templomot megvilágító erős reflektor. De ezzel lehet kísérletezni... :D

Hello Filip,

Nice, harmonious ambience in your capture here. Nice way to show the spirit of the place. I like it.

On a side note, forcing your aperture even narrower and going for longer exposure would make the street lights appear more like stars. Of course, that's if you wanted that effect.
