Photographer’s Note

Ruins of a monastery in the Bükk mountains, near a few-house ranch named Szentlélek ("Holy Ghost" in English...). It was burnt in the 16th century by Gáspár Serédy, a captain from the army of the king Ferdinand Ist, and was never re-built again.

You can find here - beside these ruins - not less than 3 hostels / pensions, and it's also an important centre of hiker ways. Within an hour of walking You can reach for example THIS or THIS, not to mention THIS place.

Hello Laszlo,
Interesting ruin as seen from the inside!
I notice the durability of the arches they constructed back then, as they seem to last longer than the walls...
The scenery is well framed, good colours and details!

A két kép között jóval több a különbség, mint, amit itt felsoroltál - majd egy év tapasztalatai, ezt biztosan Te is érzed.

Hát, ezt már tényleg csak a szentlélek tartja. OK, elismerem, poénnak gyenge, de a boltív bizonytalan statikája tényleg ad a képnek az ősi romoktól szokatlan feszültséget, miközben még látni a régi időkben nyilván elegáns faragott köveket. Szerintem a legjobb látószöget választottad.
