Budapest, the Citadel-2--One Year on TE Photo

Photographer’s Note

THIS IS A SPECIAL DAY FOR ME, TODAY IT IS MY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY ON TREKEARTH.
In January 2006, I have bought my camera, it was my first camera of my life, I knew practically nothing about photography...only that I was absolutely crazy about it and I was determined to learn to take my own photos.
On the 30th of July 2006, I have decided to join TE, it was not an easy decision, everybody on TE seems so good, all the photos were beautiful and I knew nothing about photography.
It was a very important year for me, TE (and later TrekLens) has learned me almost everything I know today, it was a great and unique experience and an opportunity to make new friends. So, THANK YOU, TE ! I LOVE YOU !
Another a scene from my trip to Budapest, the amazing city panorama that you can admire from the Citadel hill, that you have already seen on my previous post, this time some hours later.

Today’s photo is very nice but it could be much better if you had it done earlier in the night, by the so called blue hour.

Hi Andreea,

Congratulations to your one year anniversary on TE. A year of tremendous progress. This is an excellent view of Budapest. Unfortunately it become a little too dark. This means that the illuminated parts of the city became overexposed. However, it is little you can do about when it has become dark. Taking into account the conditions I think you have done a really good job here. Have a nice day!

ma bucur ca ti-a placut budapesta - este realmente un oras foarte frumos si cu multe de fotografiat - se vede ca te-ai descurcat bine cu asta :)

Ta photo postée pour la circonstance est pleine de lumières dans la nuit. Le regard se plait à parcourir le cliché et à découvrir un pont, une église, des quais...

very nice view over the city, the lights are well captured against the night sky, however I think a slightly faster speed might have minimised the extreme glow of the lights.

I like this photo and the balance between light and sharpness is good. Meanwhile you should show the camera exif to see how you shot it
