Photographer’s Note
Sunday morning, still very early in budapest
The city seems still quiet, still having rest after night festivity, dance, music performance, etc. And they are preparing for this great day for them. 20th of August - Celebration of Crafts (Mesterségek Ünnepe) also a national holiday in honour of Saint Stephen (King István I.), founder of the state of Hungary, as well as the festival of the new bread.
There would be airshow, The Red Bull Air Race, that they had been practicing (I put in the workshops ). This race, a speed, obstacle flying competition, increasingly known as the Formula-1 of the air, makes the traditional air show of the national celebration unforgettable.
The great national celebration concludes on the evening of the 20th August with a spectacular half hour firework display over the River Danube and the Buda hills.
But in the morning, it's still very quiet

Hi Cessy. Well thanks for the workshops as well. I might hazard a guess you used a polarizer on your main post but I don't see one listed. The old lady is a nice addition too.

Hi Cessy.
I like the inclusion of the only lady in the photo and the long perspective with the light and dark parts. Lovely workshops too. I like how you caught the action, nice panning.
P.S: I found some old photos of Budapest of mine, I'll try to scan them and share some day.

Quite and empty Budapest. Is this old lady walking to the Danube to see the race or is she fleeing it? Interesting triangle formation between the old lady nad the two sculptures on the wall.
The WS pictures are unique. Why didn't you place it as principal pictures?
TFS, Peter
