Photographer’s Note

Last Saturday, people enjoyed the ice, walking and skating.
Thickness of ice was about 15 cm.
No problem here at all - even 300 meters 'offshore', water is only one meter deep!

Ici, c'est pratiquement la mer de Glace où tout le monde du plus petit au plus grand s'essaye à patiner sur cette étonnante patinoire géante ! La prise de vue retrace bien les moments des patineurs :
- Patineurs confirmés, débutants, chutes, etc.
Photographie très originale et très bien maîtrisée.

Nice winter there I see. It's great to have frozen lake with clear ice without snow. Here in Finland that's quite rare, actually.
Good low angle. The crushed ice add interest.

Waouh, 15 cms ca fait deja une belle patinoine, belle vue lumineuse ou on voit que c'est une activite populaire d'aller patiner dans ce coin. Tu as l'air d'avoir une poussiere dans ton capteur (en haut au centre).
