Photographer’s Note
This is a photograph of one of the stone lions found on the Chain Bridge in Budapest.
At each end of the bridge there are a pair of these lions to "guard" the bridge.
Legend has it that during a ceremony to unveil the bridge, a small child noticed that none of the lions had any tongues. Upon hearing this, the architect who designed the bridge was so embarassed at his oversight, that he threw himself into the Danube and was never seen again!!
No PP other than cropping, resizing and sharpening.
