Photographer's Note
This is the main entrance to the central “K” building of the Technical University of Budapest at banks of the Danube on the Buda side. The four allegorical female figures represent the four main branches of the University at the time when the original statues were made in in 1909: civil, architecture, mechanical and chemical engineering. The original statues were destroyed during the 2nd world war, these replicas were only installed at the entrance in 2007.

Hello Barnabas
This is an excellent daily life street scene
Of course the architecture of the sculptures at the entrance of the University is fine, but IMHO what makes the shot here is the analogy of the student reading and learning, close to his stone models
Well done, a well observed situation
have a nice sunday
Patrick
