Legendary Ikarus Photo

Photographer’s Note

In this picture you can see a nice old-timer from the portfolio of the legendary public transportation brand of Hungary 'Ikarus' designed in the early 1960s. [In WS you can see the closed view of the little badge put on the grill to show the chauffeur had drove 500000 km without any accident.]

This shot was taken in a veteran bus rendez vous in Tata one year ago.

It was raining but everyone enjoyed being there. And I hope so do you! (Sorry for technically imperfect image!)

Hi Jalab,
Beautiful old bus with design that has plenty of round forms. And in excellent condition. Good wide and close angle. I like the colourful autumn background too.
It could be sharper though. The weather must have been rather bad causing the long exposure time.
