Photographer’s Note
The place
This church window located in Sopron - one of the most beautiful city in Hungary in the west part. The architecture of the old section of town reflects its long history; walls and foundations from the Roman Empire are still common, together with a wealth of Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque structures, often artistically decorated, showing centuries of stability and prosperity.
The picture
Oh I'm sorry but the winter is coming...
I took this picture on the last day of 2005 late afternoon. We celebrated the new year's day in this beautiful town, The weather was cold and snowy. There the only one “warm” think was the old window of the church.
PP.
I had to correct the perspective. I like this blue cast with the warm complementary orange color therefore I left it unchainged. Plus Resize, USM, Frame etc.

Miklós, this is an awesome photograph. I love the contrast between the warm light coming from inside the window, and the cold blue snow on the outside. Like you mentioned in your note the complementary color scheme is very appealing. The exposure is perfect. I like photos that look almost as if they could be a painting, and this photo almost has that effect. Well seen, and photographed.
Regards,
Ryan

You were right not to adjust the colour cast Miklos. The warm light inside perfectly counters the cold blue exterior.
Well done on a superb image!
Thanks
Robin
