Photographer’s Note
The main square of Sopron with remarkable architecture hosts many events. Recently a wine festival has been held. Sopron is a fine wine producing area. The traditions come back to the ancient Roman times that folowed mostly by German settlers of the city who grew principally bean (Bohnenzüchter) and the wine was the second product. Not now when the wine has priority. Most of the producers still are of German origin, like the wine-houses Artner, Jandl, Hauer, Weninger, Taschler etc. When you get there do not miss a wine cellar.
