Photographer’s Note
Photographing trains is one of my hobbies - beside photographing anything else :). No matter if they're narrow or normal gauge, I love to capture them. I have many images already uploaded to TrekLens, but I try to publish some here, too.
Now You can see a Tatra Studenka diesel motor-train, which was manufactured in the communistic Tschechoslovakia in the '70's and is quite common in Hungary, transporting passengers on the side-lines. I shot this on the station of Székesfehérvár, just before we (my family and me) travelled on it to Balatonfüred.
PP-talk: exposure time and adaptive lighting back, sharpening, cropping, framing, re-sizing.

Hi Lazlo,
That's a hobby we have in common, even though I do not post so many train photos on TE.
Your image here is quite interesting. It's a kind of documentary photo. The word on the front makes me smile : "Bzmot". I have no idea how it can be prononced or what it means.
Personnaly I would have left more room for the tracks on the foreground and less in the sky. But well that's a question of taste I believe.
Pascal.

Not many train pics on TE and I like them, so this is a welcome view. It has a certain vintage aspect to it as this vehicle looks near the end of its working life. Well done.

Hi Laszlo,
These little diesel trains on sidetracks are to me more interesting than high speed trains on main lines. Cosy feeling on little used rails growing grass. Nice sidelight and clouds.

Like you, I am mad about trains. I even have a theme on them. I like this Tatra of yours. The side light and the pov in perspective crafted a perfect railway shot. Helped by the good cloudy sky. What I don't like is the creamy frame. It's too much of that color in a single post. :) But like you say, frames are indeed a matter of personal taste. Now bring us more trains please!

I was many time in Székesfehérvár station. I know very well hungarian and italian trains, too. It is my hobby. I had a little trip on Bzmot, from Estergom to Budapest. This shot is very representative for these light diesel train. Szia.
