Photographer’s Note

A view taken while walking up to the Buda castle hille and looking towards Pest on the east bank of the Danube. On Buda side there is a funicular railway to go uphill that you see in the foreground but trekkers are courageous people who don't fear walking ;-)

J'aime particulièrement ton point de vue avec tous ces éléments importants alignés. J'admire aussi la luminosité de l'ensemble, le très beau ciel et la superbe qualité d'image. Très belle photo de cette si jolie ville.

you were luckier than I...I had a similar shot in my gallery..but I had to turn it into black and white to cope with bad light!

J'aime bien ta combinaison pont/funiculaire sous ce soleil radieux. Tu as bien profité des arbres pour cadrer le tout et concocter une image fort agréable.

Une vue que je trouve très originale et très bien pensée. Les couleurs s'entrechoquent ici. Les points colorés sont nombreux et attirent agréablement le regard. Une vue splendide !

Non mais ce ne serait pas le sosie de Tower Bridge ce pont ?!

Super point de vue. la vue plongeante est vertigineuse, et très originale. On se croirait dans un grand 8 : on plonge pour découvrir le funiculaire, avant de remonter et de se laisser submerger par cette belle architecture, et par le superbe ciel.
L'effet est génial.

You found a perfect spot to capture the beauty of this place in a vertical way. I like how you started this with a railway, a nice connecting bridge at the middle and end it up with a castle. Well done. The clouds is a bonus.

A fine composition that suits the vertical format perfectly. The funicular makes a very good start to the lead line continued by the road and the bridge. The sky adds much to the atmosphere. Sharpness is excellent throughout.

Very nice view as you show it. The colors are excellent - I think you might have used a polar filter. I also like the way how you managed the lights here!

What a long and eventful visual journey through this complex composition! How you hold all these elements together in a single line is fascinating, jean Yves.You have maintained a lovely crispness from the foreground funicular to the fluffy clouds beyond. Ton image rassemble d'un seul coup pas mal de choses qui faut absolument voir quand on va là-bas! Tua as de la chance de te trouver ici en pleine fête sur le pont. Je regrette de ne pas avoir le temps de passer plus de temps sur TE en ce moment, mais je regarde tous les jours tes oeuvres... Il semble bien que le comité d'accueil à Budapest ait bien pris soin de toi!

An excellent vertical composition that is emphasised by the bridge and the funicular that leads the eye so well into the photo. The city looks great in the background in this attractive sunlight. You used the trees in the foreground also really well as a natural frame. Thanks for sharing!

What a wonderful sky, and with the funicular, it seems you've brought a bit of Switzerland to Budapest.

The weather is somewhat better here in Sumatra, but the skies stay clear only until noon, anyway there are no especially interesting landscapes or buildings easily accessible here, and public transport maximizes the physical suffering of the passengers. This trip is definitely more hard work than a holiday!

Jolie "carte postale" grâce à ton pdv qui met en valeur différentes parties de la ville. Les couleurs sont joliment saturées et la nettété est impeccable. J'aime beaucoup comment tous ces nuages flottent par-dessus.

j'aime beaucoup cette photo par sa composition et ses couleurs jean yves.
Le plan incliné débouchant sur le pont qui enjambe le fleuve majestueusement et le vert qui tranche avec un magnifique ciel bleu ...superbe présentation.
