Photographer’s Note
This is the tunnel under Varhegy. It was built by a Scottish engineer and is situated at the Buda end of the Chain Bridge. It is exactly the same length as the bridge, and local legend says that when it rains they push the bridge into the tunnel to keep it dry.
For those of you who have been to Budapest and experience the way they drive, you will appreciate what a dangerous place to take a picture this is!!
