Photographer’s Note
This is a shot of downtown Budapest in August 2002, when the floods were all over Europe. This is a place where the Danube is about 5-8 meters lower normally. You can see the tram line going under water. I was there just to pick up a group from the airport. It was scaring but fun to see the streets ending in the water. It stopped there, it didn't increase - no major damages were produced to the city (I don't know about the subway though..)

not bad andrei, although a higher pov would have captured it better in my opinion. i'm not sure people who're not familiar with the place can appreciate how high the river really was. i posted a ws if you don't mind with some cropping and a frame.
only one smiley just because i think it doesn't live up to your great people shots.

Bonjour André, the WS of Marak is a good idea to concentrate on the middle of the pict. I think it is difficult to understand difference between hight level et normal level of Danube. I am interesting anyway to discover that event unusual. Take care and welcome in TE
