Southern Buda
The "Bottomless lake" (Feneketlen tó) near Móricz Zsigmond körtérCitadella, the former fortress on top of Gellért Hill (Gellérthegy), offers a superb panorama over Central Budapest including bank of the Danube River, Buda Castle and Pest city. To get good views up and down the Danube, take the steps going down in front of the Liberty Statue in front of the Citadella. There are several outposts offering good photo opportunities (or the chance of a breather if you're walking up the hill!).
