[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Some of the Hajdu towns are connected with Debrecen (and there with the international railway net) by this 68 km long branch line. Since in the last decades the main traffic has moved to roads the small train on the picture is more than enough to meet the demands.
Diesel trains of Bzmot class were built in Czechoslovakia from 1973 till 1984 by Tatra Works. Hungarian Railways purchased 205 items now serving as main vehicles on branch lines. The original 141 kW Skoda engines were then replaced with more powerful Rába-MAN engines and also the hydro-mechanical gears were changed for those from Voith. (Yes, the same Voith that manufactured Ulf's generators here .)
As a consequence of the modernization the maximal allowed speed has been increased from 70 to 80 km/h.
In the last years there has been heated debates on closure of branch lines producing enormous loss.
In the WS you can find another shot of the train.

Meilleurs amities,

Branko

Laszlo,
This is a great photo of this train. The sharpness is outstanding showing the faces of the engineers with perfect clarity. The lighting and colors are great here as well. Your composition is excellent creating a diagonal through the photo showing good depth and direction.

Asa

Hello Lazlo,
Great photo of this train entering the photo. You could also see the faces of the drivers! A little girl in the middle? Nice POV, colors, and saturation. Great clouds & sky. The trees on the left give a very nice balance to the photo. Great timing. Well done. Regards. Latiff.

Ciao Laszlo,

Hi Laszlo,
Great shot of the train approaching. Nicely taken. A very informative note as well.
Well done,
Shaeri

Szia Laszlo,

Marci

Szia Laci,
Attila
