Photographer’s Note
In the centre of the North eastern city of Nyiregyhaza, you can find a small cage like stucture covered in locks of all sorts.
The tradition is that couples in love will go to the structure and hang a lock on it to represent their love, if the love dies then they will remove their lock.
Judging by the rust on some of the locks, there are some very long lasting relationships in the city. :-)

this is funny to discover this tradition in Hungary too!
we have the same in Rome. On the Lamps of Ponte Milvio brigdes couples hang locks to swear themselves eternal love!
