Concathedral, definitely! Photo

Photographer’s Note

While I was uncertain about the status of the church shown in my former posting now I am absolutely sure - not a big challenge, it is written above the main entrance of the church. Pope John Paul II. reorganized the territorial structure of the Hungarian Catholic Church by his apostolic constitution Hungarorum Gens from 30.05.1993. One of the two new dioceses is Debrecen-Nyíregyháza with bishoprial seat Debrecen and concathedral in Nyíregyháza.

The church was built between 1902 and 1904 by V. Nagy in Neoromanesque style.

The composition is great with these trees in front of this wonderful cathedral! The people walking on the streets are an interesting detail in your picture, giving live and colors to it.

This is a well composed shot with the cathedral placed to one side of the scene with the trees providing nice balance. The angle of the shot is great giving the shot nice depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

Laci, szep a templom es meg ezen a teli kepen is jol latszik, hogy uj elettel toltodott meg Nyiregyhaza azutan, hogy kozossegi terei a szo szoros es atvitt ertelmeben is fel- vagy ujjaepultek a rendszervaltas utan. gran bel lavoro fotografico, dove il tuo grandangolo è riuscito a catturare l'intera cattedrale ed una grande quantità di particolari intorno ad essa. Nitidezza perfetta in tutta l'immagine, considerando anche che il valore F/4,5 di solito non dà grandi profondità di campo. Hai fatto veramente un lavoro completo e piacevole, bravissimo!

Eine sehr interessante und vielgestaltige Architektur - une eine etwas ungewöhnliche Farbgebung - aber ein insgesamt schöner Bau! Das moderne Kunstwerk links ist ein echter "Gegenpol". Die Aufteilung des Fotos ist sehr gut - und geschickt!
Einen schönen Sonntag aus Siegen, wo es Schnee regnet! ;-)

Hi Laszlo,

Another wonderful shot with great soft winter light. Very vivid scene with a lot of people in the square in front of the church. Also a really fine composition with the black trees in backlight in the foreground. TFS and have a nice Sunday!

This church is beautiful. I like very much the POV you chose to show it. The bare trees in the foreground add interest to the composition and the people around the square bring the picture to life. It is nicely done!

Ein schöne Backsteinkirche. Mir geföllt der Baum als Rahmen sehr gut und auch die Fußgänger, die die gewaltige Dimension erkenn lassen.
