As I wrote earlier flood has been a serious and constant danger for towns and villages on the Tisza river. This year the usual spring flood was in fact not perceptible due to the dry winter in the Carpathian mountains but two weeks ago a mild flood started on several confluents elevating the level of Tisza and the lower confluents, amond them that of Zagyva, the smaller river in Szolnok. Anglers take the opportunity of being able to practise their hobby within the town, just in front of their homes. Often the whole family is out on the coast, when I was there the assistance was completed by a stork as well.

For comparison you can see the same river at her normal level in the autumn of last year.

Hallo László!
Da hat ja kaum ein Fisch eine Chance. Das ist ja schon fast unfair - die Phalanx von Anglern ... ;-) Fotografisch gefällt mir hier besonders das wunderschöne Licht, das fast einen 3D-Effekt erzeugt. Na dann, Petri Heil!

Szia Laszlo,
ich rätsele schon den halben Tag rum, was mir hier wenig gefällt. Die Szene ist gut, dazu gemischt mit dem Dokumentarischen Charakter, ein schönes Licht, wie es Frank schreibt, ist auch dort. Gerade auf dem Deich mit dem Licht und Schatten finde ich es gut. Aber nun weiß ich es. Die Vielzahl der Hintergrundobjekte mit Häusern und Masten und Leitungen stört mich, selbst die Bäume sind fast zuviel und auch der Angler links hinten. Ein Schnitt im unteren Bereich der Bäume und links neben den Anglern im Schatten sitzend, das träfe meine Vorstellung eher. Was meinst Du, ich habe es einfach mal gemacht?

Zumindestens einige haben Spaß an der Überschwemmung. Sehr schöner Blick auf die Angler entlang des Dammes. Gute Aufnahme mit schönen Farben

i like this peaceful and tranquil place with all these fishermen in action.The green grass slope with the trees in the right create an idyllic environment to enjoy someone the nature.Well done.

Hi Laszlo,

I saw this photo some time ago and really love. I am a keen fisherman myself. I could understand that flood is good for fishing here, but usually it is the other way round in rivers. It there is a flood usually it more difficult to catch fish. The stork among the fisher is a marvellous inclusion. A superb shot my friend. TFS and have a nice weekend!
