The Cistercian Church of Eger.
Eger is best known for its castle, thermal baths, historic buildings (including the northernmost Turkish minaret), dishes and red wines. It has an estimated population of 56,530 as of 2011, which makes it 19th largest city in Hungary. The city is located on the Eger Stream, on the hills of the BŁkk Mountains.

Another great interior architecture, with the insides needing some obvious renovation and strengthening. Nicely framed, beautifully proportioned and having an impressive DOF.

Some repairs are evidently under way inside this church. What remains in sight still has the power to fill the viewer with awe. I like the point of view and symmetrical framing; the archway directs the viewer naturally into the scene. The image is ideally exposed and has excellent colours and clarity.
