Hi Nikol,
This is really a great night shot.
Although, it looks as if you were trying to hold the camera rather than place it on something like a tripod (not sure), or perhaps you triggered the shutter with the shutter release rather than by cable release or remote? I will often hang my backpack on the tripod for weight in this case. Sometimes when faced with a situation when I have no tripod on hand for this sort of shot, I have a small foam bean filled pillow which I carry in my backpack (it's bright pink no less). I use it to steady the camera on top of the car, etc. In some cases I will have a friend kneel down on hands and knees and use their back with this pillow which sort of acts as a sandbag to steady the camera, even a shoulder is better than free holding the camera if you have a steady, willing friend who hasn't been drinking. I also sometimes look for a trash recepticle to steady the camera, and sometimes I get lucky.
Even though it is a tiny bit blurry and there is some grain. I love the composition with the framing of the archway.
it's a very nice addition to your daytime shot.
You do very nice work.
peace,
haans :)

The yellow and red color on the church on the thumbnail catch the eye and the viewer wants to see more of the picture.
When the viewer sees this explosion of colors, he asks himself what he can do in the workshop with this picture and he does few essays and trials. (Jean-Pierre)
So I tried something in the workshop

Interesting perspective from which to shoot. The picture seems a bit grainy, and doubtless the night and winter shooting conditions were tough. It could stand some more sharpness. Nonetheless, I like it -- and I'm glad you shared the scene with us, Nikol. I agree with Haans about the idea of this photo complementing the daytime shot. If you could get similar clarity, it would be really strong.

Hi Nikolett,
I like the composition of this shot, the way the building is framed by the arch is great.
I couldn't help but notice the bizar shutter speed of 19607843/100000000.
Anyway a great shot, Siza, Davy
