Sunset in Agios Gordios Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is a composition of a kitsch lamp and an agave flower in the road going to a great hotel up on a hill in Agios Gordios, Corfu.
Ithought that the two vertical elements could be nice to see over a sunset sky.
I used ny old Nikon coolpix 8800 in raw mode.

You're right. The lamp and the agave provide a fine focal point for the wonderful sky. Great light management too with excellent detail in both the much brighter sky and the backlit vertical elements.

Hola Livia.
Despite the light against you and the cloudy evening you got a very good view of the beautiful statue and the agave flower, light was still good enough to get great details, very well captured, wonderful composition.

Ciao Livia,
mi piace questa competizione tra la statua e l'agave,come bella e' anche l'atmosfera del tramonto nel piccolo spicchio che e' riuscito a ricavarsi tra le nuvole.
