The shot was taken last year at Varikos beach, very close to Litohoro. The sun was setting, the beach was absolutely lonely and when i noticed the beautifull colours of the sky i started taking pictures amazed by the scenery. This one is quite special, as i managed to capture that unbelievable green light at the waves, something that happens very rarely (some of you may understand exactly what i mean, if you like taking pictures of waves). This is one of my best shots (i think), as a sunset, a nice beach, sand dunes and that green light reflected on the waves are all combined in one picture.
Before uploading the pic i did an automatic color adjustment and sharpening.
I'd love to see your opinions about it!

Great colours you've got here. If there was water on mars it would have looked like this i think. :) nice.

Excellent, really otherwordly! Congratulations!

Eccezionale gioco di ombre, luci e riflessi, grandissima immagine drammatica e surreale!

Very beautiful shot with really lovely color.
As far as it regards that green light i believe is a lens flare and wasn't really on the wave.
Of course it is very succesful as it does not make bad impression ;-)

Probably the most beautiful sunset I ever see. All those colors!!! (especially that green reflection). I wish to see this place one day!

Very nice work Eleni! Somewhat blurry but good shot!

And the lens flare take a place in the magical and terrific picture :)That's synchronicity!
Thanks you for sharing,
José

Very nice picture, a lot of beautifull and warm colors. Good frame. It seems that the green light gives something mysterious to your picture. Good work.

Great photo Elena!
The colours here are fantastic, as is the contrast and clarity. I love the reflection of light from the wet sands.
I believe the green is a lens flare effect, which i don't mind, and agree adds a nice touch. Maybe the horizon could be levelled up a bit, but i like it. Very well done!

The most dramatic scenery i ve seen here.
The colours are unbeleavable an almost unreal photo!

One of the best sunset I have ever seen.. nice job

Bon, heu là franchement, je suis désolé, mais bon, une aberration chromatique, ça fait pas le rayon vert. Il faut que le soleil soit bien plus bas à l'horizon pour esperer voir une très fugitive lueur verte.

Again an amazing shot! Light, colors, compo. very well inspired!! Thanks for sharing
