The Church Of Paralia - Respect To Marci Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hello,

I continue my Greek travelogue. As You can read in the note of this photo, the only building worth photographing in Paralia is the orthodox church - most of all just before the total darkness reaches the town.

I dedicate this semi-night shot to one of my greatest Friends here, Márton Ocskay (ocskaymarci), who's a fan of nocturnal photography. Although he's half as old as me, I learned a lot from him. Dear Marci! Thank You very much for everything, Your useful critiques, workshops, tips and so. I can't wait the day we meet and photograph together (after having a beer or such, he-he).

Photo: tripod, manual exposure. No PP was needed except for framing, signing and re-sizing. In the workshop You can see my 9-year old son's photo about the same building, later at night.

Excellent composition of architecture image with good depth to include the awesome and powerful sky! that makes a good colour contrast between the blue hour lighting over the building!
well done on the exposure and focus with great sharpness, nice colour and details

El sem tudom mondani mekkora elsimerés nekem egy ilyen szép képet ajándékba kapni! Tudod mennyire szeretem ez éjszakai képeket!! ((: Egyébként sokkal nagyobb a Te érdemed a fejlődésedben, én csak egy kis biztatást adtam hozzá! (:
Szerintem igen nagy jövő áll előtted az éjszakai fotózás terén! Kiválóan találtad el a beállításokat, remek az expozíció. Nagyon tetszik ez az alacsony nézőpont és a keret is szép elegáns! Csak egy jobb gép kellet ahhoz, hogy előtörjön belőled a kreativitás. Most már meg ne állj!! Csak így tovább!!((:
(A workshop csak egy fantázia, a képed úgy tetszik, ahogy van!)

Klassz lett ez az ejszakai fotod; jo a kompozicio, szepek a fenyek es nagyon latvanyos az egbolt is. Tetszik mindenestul!
(Mi is jartunk ezen a helyen nehany evvel ezelott. Hatalmas csalodas volt szamunkra; keves latnivalo, hatalmas tomeg, udvariatlan kiszolgalas es a szallasunktol hallhato beigert tengermorajlas helyett egy lancon csorgedezo kutyus szunni nem akaro ugatasa, akit el is neveztunk Titonak.
En mindig azt mondom, hogy van Gorog orszag es van Paralia.:)

it's very nice that you are back in TE! I've been missing for a long time too.
I think your technique is improved, I like very much the star-efect of the long exposure in combination with stormy sky.

Hello Laszlo,

You took this picture during it blue hour, with tripod and 1 second exposure time gives a excellent result.
Excellent composition of architecture image with good depth to include the awesome and powerful sky.
That makes a good colour contrast between the blue hour lighting over the building.
Composition and presentation are very well. TFS.

Nagy öröm számomra, hogy itt vagy. Sokáig nézegettem az oldalad, de akkor még nem bővült, újabb képekkel. Most boldog vagyok, mert mindkét kedvenc fotósammal találkozhatom itt. ( Marci) Azt hiszem amit tanultam, azt tőletek, és a képeiteken keresztül tanultam. Tetszik ez az egészséges élcelődő baráti rivatizálás:))) Csodálatos kép, remek éjszakai fotó! Gratulálok! I like you low angle shot. it gives the feeling of grandness and majestic aura. The sky is very dramatic and the effect of lights could be seen and felt through.
