Photographer’s Note
The cave of Saint Stefanos, built inside a cave, in an area with magnificent waters. The legend has it that this little church was built by a fisherman who was saved after struggling against a giant octopus. It was an offer to the Saint who had his name, Stefanos, for his salvation.

hello elena,
beautiful colours, frame and light, i also like the modest yet powerful composition.
this is a perfect picture that tells so much in spite of showing so little on the surface.but that "so little" is only on the surface.
the cyclades people usually don`t know...
great picture!

Hi Elena,
hm..I posted a critique for this capture yesterday but it is not here anymore... strange. Well, I guess it is the right thing to write it again. This jewel certainly deserves it! I always had a passion for hidden treasures like this one. Architecture build into a cave (into its surroundings), becoming one with it is something I admire a lot. It is one of most difficult things to achieve. Reading your note and story to go with this image makes it even more precious. Thank you for discovering this hidden jewel for me. :)
Kind regards,
Jeri
