Dreaming on the board
and watching the sea...
on the trip to greek islands
of the Aegean Sea.
Here follows a greek song:
If I could change the world (An mporoysa ton kosmo na allaza) - Pliatsikas Filippos
------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------
The first time I saw her, she was standing,
The night that Rome was on fire,
thousands of years (with) fire and messages,
but, I cannot forget the waves of her body.
There I saw her again at the banks of Volga's river,
where a soldier called her Olga,
she whispered something in the cold
I thought it was so funny back then.
If I could change the world,
I would turn the sea blue again.
If I could change something in the world,
I would turn the sea blue again.
On Palos, she leaves her name one night,
written somewhere upon the stern of Colombus,
at that time when the Spaniards were setting sail,
and they were intoxicated with an unknown destiny .
Once she found herself in France,
the first day of May in an empty square
the students were about to start protesting,
and they would ask a different (better) life.
If I could change the world,
I would turn the sea blue again.
If I could change something in the world,
I would turn the sea blue again.
Today there she is, cruddling a boy,
the Crusadors setted sail again,
but who is to hear or to be interested,
in a world boiling and flaming.
If I could change the world,
I would turn the sea blue again.
If I could change something in the world,
I would turn the sea blue again.

Hello Constantino,
A soulful glance at the sea, and a most beautiful set of lyrics to give it dimension. I like this post very much. A few days ago I saw my 9-year old granddaughter on the balcony at the hotel room Mexico looking wistfully at the sea, in exactly the same atmosphere. (We had all attended a destination wedding in Cancun.) In preparing return to her normal life in Virginia, she said, "Granddaddy, I don't want to leave."
Warm regards, Constantino,
Bulent

The compo, clarity and light are all very good. And, the dreaming mood is very well represented with the girl having her head resting on her arms and watching the sea. Well done.

Ciao Costantino,
