Hi Nic,

This image has a nice overall hue to it. This is a classic placement of a jetty jutting into the frame to add depth. I think you could have improved upon this formula by raising the horizon high in the frame to force the viewers eye into the background even more. The central placement of the horizon diminishes the sense of depth somewhat and the top third containing clear blue sky really contains little information for the viewer. I did a workshop to demonstrate the view I'd have tried.
