[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well, first of all, since the last weeks I have another problem with my computer: the contrast levels of the screen are wrong and I cannot correct them.
Then, I work with my new (and first) laptop. But sometimes, and this is one of this times, I see the picture very strange with the other screen (the laptop is not connected to internet).

I mean, I see this one well in the laptop but I cannot do the same with my "old" computer. I hope don't be wrong and I hope post the right one.


Once I've said this last... this is my last picture before leave again Barcelona for a few days: tomorrow I will go again to Greece.

This picture was made in the Philoppapo mountain where I was waiting for the last rays of Sun of the day. In front of me the Akropolis... but from there also is possible enjoy very nice views of the city like this one.

Time ago I post one of the picture I made of the Akropolis... but maybe someday I will post some other from this very place.

For now, the city and the people... memories of my last time in Athens (and memories of my old d-50 because the next day passed away close this mountain).

Hablas de Atenas y Cocolandia y de Barcelona... Como no me contestastes, pienso que Vueling hizo huelga y no fuistes a Paris.
Vale, el contraste no me molesta nada porque hicistes bien. Ademas la luz es preciosa. Cuidado con las esquinas negras que podias quitar facilamente. Me gusta tu primer plano con flores de un lado y gente del otro.
Tengo que buscar un workshop para ti ;-)

La vista es impresionante.

No desheches tu monitor viejo. Lo que puedes hacer, es comprar el software para calibrar el monitor y asi puedes usar la laptop con el monitor. Asi lo hice durante un tiempo.

Nice and typical overview over the Athenian concrete jungle. I like the warm tones. They make this urban monster look somehow friendly.

This is how modern cities looks like...simply a jungle! Doesn't matted you prepared it on the old or new screen - photo is great. POV and composition but also incredible, warm light.

It looks good on my screen Carlos; in fact it is one of your recent best in my opinion. The light over the huge metropolis is wonderful and I love the way the people are watching it with you. The yellow bush is also a good inclusion in the foreground. Well done

Hi, Carlos. Putting people in the foreground and seeing them from the abck always gives you the impression you are 'in the picture'. This is also the case here. Moreover, the people in the foreground give a good depth to the image and contrast with the white buildings of the city. The late afternoon light gives very warm colours to the scene. I also like the yellow flowers on the left that give a very good balance to the foreground.

Sí, lo reconozco publicamente, tienes una de las mejores galerías que conozco de TE (no voy a hacer la coña de compararme contigo). Lo mejor de tu galería es que es variada (no como la mía) y original. No sabes que te puedes encontrar (aunque es fácil que sea de tu pueblo, bendito pueblo, o de Grecia últimamente). Siempre puedes sorprender con algo.

Me gusta mucho este punto de vista, fuera de lo usual, donde de Grecia siempre estamos acostumbrados a observar sus grandes y gratos monumentos historicos desarrollados en marmol.

La composicion del paisaje, junto a las personas, se destaca. La basta iluminacion permite visualizar de forma clara el conjunto arquitectonico y el equilibrio establecido en el encuadre esta bien concebido.
