I like this very sweet morning light, the hour when I like going to take "ena kafedaki sto limani" when everything is quiet, it's a fresh time and the smells are numerous and magnificent. Fantastic hour to arrive in Greece (or in Crete) with the ferry!

Yes, this early morning light has shown up the colours of the buildings beautifully, without too much contrast. Your POV is excellent - just slightly uphill to give a view over the harbour. The party of people help to give a feel of the liveliness of Chania and the colours, particularly of the sky and the water, are caught perfectly - fresh and lovely!
