Hi Atanasios,
Marvelous photograph of this well-built engineering marvel. They built things to last back then and I am amazed at the pristine condition that this aqueduct is in! This is some of the most outstanding stone masonary that I have ever seen. Evidently Sultan Suleiman the Magnificient would not put up with sloppy workmanship! Your photograph is not sloppy worksmanship either with your superb composition and sharpness. Thanks for sharing this amazing architecture with us!

ωραία μινιμαλιστική φωτογραφία από το τόσο γνωστό υδραγωγείο της Καβάλας.Έχω πολλά χρόνια να περάσω από εκείνα τα μέρη,αλλά απ΄ότι βλέπω είναι καλοδιατηρημένα.Ωραίο το κοντραστ που κάνει με τον μπλέ ουρανό.Μου αρέσει η οξύτητα και η καθαρότητα της φωτό σου.

It can't be easy to compose and frame an image of this huge and magnificent edifice. Your close upwards POV and use of perspective works very well. As our eyes are swept through the frame the repetition of the arches makes easy viewing. Good work.

Athanasios, this is a nice shot that shows detail and hints at the scale of the structure. That the aquaduct is in this shape after 500 years is quite a testiment to it's builders.

How are you? It is very impressive to show the aqueduct from this low & close POV. The texture of stones are clear & strong & I like the curve of the aqueduct as we move from left to right. Fine contrast with excellent colours.

This aqueduct is magnificent with its amazing stone textures on facades. Thick arches, curved path creating great scene with clear sky. Shadowed, repeating arches on next stories are wonderful. Congratulations. Have a nice week end.

Short and sweet note, the aqueduc looks great and the diagonal composiion renders it wisely. It seems very well preserved for something even older than my own city, despite being the oldest european city in North america :D
