Photographer's Note
Corfu/Kerkyra is well known for its beaches and coastlines with deep blue water and its woods with millions of olive trees.
When the Venetians rules the island (1386-1797), they showed special interest in the cultivation of the olive trees. They paid an award to the inhabitants for clearing the natural woods and planting olive trees. So olive trees became the most common trees of the island.

Interesting angle you shot here...the amount of water shown versus the amount of land shown seems equal in a diagonal proportion. The blue waters is so crisp! What a great picture to post after the finale of the 2004 Olympics.

What a wonderful point of view you choose. Perfect balance between trees and sea. Nice colors, well done !

Unusual composition and it works very well Wolfgang. Nice balance between the two textures and colours, great sharpness and clarity.

Interesting textures - the waves and underwater rocks in the sea, the different trees - very nice! I like to find all these details n a compositions that's only blue and green at first sight. Btw, David's workshop is not so good - the colors of the olive trees are way oversaturated.

Differentiation between the land and the sea. The land, green and populated with green detail while the sea placid in blue. A fine aerial shot of this bbeachfront Wolfgang.
