The mountain village of Spilaio (whose name suggests that there are caves around) above the gorge of the Venetikos river.
On the extreme right you can see the beautiful Byzantine monastery of the Asssumption of the Virgin

Hello Phil
I like the viewpoint - definitely one for this time of year as the trees' foliage will soon obscure the view of the village. Nicely lit foreground with bands of shadow beyond, and lovely natural colours. The pretty monastery looks very enticing.
Best wishes....Maggie

Hi Phil.
Nice "village-portrait", with an interesting note too.
Beautiful saturated tile roofs.
Best regards.
Bobo.

Hi Phil,
the point you chose for capturing was very good. I have visited this village once and I remember very well the entrance of it under the huge rocks and the thunderstruck plane at the square. The monastery was closed but so beautiful! Mount Orliakas is an extraordinary one!
The light management, Phil, is well done and the colours natural. You and your Nikon did a very good work!
Kind regards,
Athanasios.

Hello Phil,
Nice shot, excellent sharpness and depth of field, nice natural colors and good light, very good point of view.
Angela

Heya Phil,

Beautiful work. A very unique motive. You`ve taken up a perfect POV and include some of the interesting foreground, which is well textured and sharpened. The clouds are also very impressive.

See you around.

Hello Phil! Amazing point of view. Amazing cityscape. Mysterious clouds and sky. Fantastic colors. Very good capture. Well done!

Hello Phil,

A well chosen viewpoint has given an excellent composition.

The red roofed houses contrast so well with the the rugged rocks. Good foreground interest too.

The strong skyline and lovely sky round it all off very well.

Regards,

Peter.
