Photographer’s Note

During my stay(2 visits, 8 days each) at Florina prefecture for the publishing of a travel magazine about the region, I went many times to Vegoritis (or Vegoritida) lake and the village of Aghios Panteleimon, that has become these last years a well known resort. Vegoritis Lake is the second largest in Greece and the deepest one (more than 70m deep) and it is divided between the prefectures of Florina and Pella.

One of those days I decided to drive all around the shores of the lake. I entered the Pella prefecture, and just after the Arnissa village, I took a dirtroad, that after 3,5 km led me to a small peninsula where I found this floating coffee bar. A nice place for a coffee or a drink, but also a nice place for fishing seated at the balcony of the bar.

Magnífica fotografía, Hércules, es...........es..........una maravilla!!
Fenomenal composición, elegante y de tonalidades bellas y mágicas, una calidad de imagen excelente. Los reflejos sobre las aguas son perfectos, tal cual un espejo. Y lo que más soprende es esa atmósfera envolvente que has conseguido reflejar.

this shot is amazing, the sunset light is wonderful and I like the mirror reflection. But what make me feel better is the wish to be sitting there sipping a Greek coffe...
I LOVE Greece, I spent many vacations there, but never went to Macedonia. Never say never !

sure,it was a wonderful place to do some photos,not only to have a drink!The result is splendid!The red sunset colours are wonderful,and the sky reflecting in the water is somptuous!The bar seems floating somewhere in the space.I like its black silhouette separating the photo in 2 parts,and I like the red light inside!Really wonderful,I like very much!

I I would like to take a coffee at once! We guess the terrace on the right, it has to be a magnificent place. You took advantage of a sunset magnificent and a lake without a single wrinkle. The effect produced by the reflection is extraordinary with these colors.

Magnifico atardecer con preciosos colores en el cielo y reflejados en el lago, la presencia de la silueta del cafe-bar esta bien localizada y las personas caminando en el muelle va muy bien con tu titulo. Una excelente fotografia. Ya por fin tengo mi computadora trabajando bien, espero que dure.

bonita imagen, gran trabajo con la exposición, y excelente resultado de colores y tonos rosados y siluetas en contraluz.
Este café flotante es un lugar muy sugerente y que nos invita a tomar una copa contemplando la puesta de sol.
Los reflejos en el agua tan quieta que parece un espejo tienen un efecto plástico de gran belleza.
