Hi Colin,

there is one TE member who would say: "Nothing but a postcard, go and make a fortune with it!"

Well, it´s really the perfect postcard motive - but the (morning) light is so attractive and the orange thing (don´t know the word for it) above the bell makes a very very good contrast to the endless blue and white. It was also a good idea to include the black rocks, as they are typical for Santorini. The white churches are almost everywhere on the Greek islands - but the rock makes it a typical Santorini photo. Oh hey ... now I see the chain of small boats behind the bell ... so many nice details. Good work, well seen!

Spot on exposure. It is very difficult to get a correct exposure in such tricky lighting. The white washed walls are not over exposed at all and you have got the blue to perfection.

Hello Colin,
This is a great shot from Santorini. I particularly liked the graphical effect and the small boats arrangement among the bell tower background. The blue deepness and the clarity of the far coves and islands are great too.
Nice too see a warm photo on a very cold day:))

Hi Colin,

This is an eye-catching photo because of its bright colours and striking composition. The line of boats visible through the arch is a nice touch. Taking the photo from the shaded side of the bell tower ensures that the whites are not burned out. Certainly makes me want to go there!
