Photographer’s Note
Took this shot in Kos Greece in July. Just loved it. The nature is quiet common for me because we have exactly the same coasts, sea and climate. How could not be? It is only 30 minutes away from Bodrum Turkey. We have so much in common with Greece. The food, the people, etc. Because of dirty politics, they make believe we have a problem. I don't believe we do. Of course there are some fanatics in both countries. But they are just a few. In general, Turkey and Greece are friends and have so much in common. Hope it will change one day.
According to Greek mythology, Kos is the sacred land of Asclepius, the god of healing. Archaeological findings prove that this island has been inhabited since prehistoric times.
460 BC is the year during which Hippocrates, the father of Medicine and founder of the first School of Medicine, was born.
