A few moments before the sunset... The hour I like to take photos.

Note that, unfornatutely, there is no a high point that you can reach and shoot this village. So, I present you this place from the sea level! :)

Some infos about Lihada:
There are many wonderful and highly picturesque regions scattered all around the island of Evia, where you can enjoy perfect holidays comprising of the sea, sun and perfect scenery and landscape all around. The region of Lihada ( approximately 150km from Halkida ), in the northern part of Evia is one such place, and it is here that you will find one of the most beautiful setting on the island. Lihada is surrounded by luscious nature and greenery all around, offering a very tranquil setting.

With wonderful views of the sea, and a charming traditional atmosphere, Lihada is one of the more special and unique parts of Evia.

The traditional fishing village of Lihada offers a truly unique and picturesque setting, with quaint tavernas and cafes located all along the bay. The colourful fishing boats add a certain charm to the village.

The atmosphere in Lihada is a very friendly and welcoming one, where one will be made to instantly feel at home by the charming locals.
Lihada is also home to one of the most picturesque coastal resorts on Evia. The resort of Agios Georgios is a wonderful place to enjoy your holidays on Evia. The "Rooms to Let Association of Agios Georgios" has a wonderful selection of rooms and accommodation available for visitors.

Πραγματι Μπάμπη, εδω ο φωτισμος ειναι κατι παραπανω απο εντυπωσιακος...αυτο που λεμε η "τελεια" φωτομετρηση!
Εξαιρετικης ομορφιας τοπιο και φωτογραφικη συνθεση...

Γειά σου Μπάμπη,
Νομίζω πρέπει να είναι η πρώτη φωτογραφία σου από τον Αγιο Γεώργιο που μας παρουσιάζει το χωριό αλλά και τον περιβάλλον τριγύρω. Πολύ όμορφα και ήσυχα φαίνονται όλα και η σύνθεση σου εκτός από το γλυκό φωτισμό έχει καταπληκτική προοπτική. Τα σύννεφα βοηθούν πολύ και ομορφαίνουν τον ουρανό σου. Πολύ καλή δουλειά.

Μας παρουσιάζεις ένα πανέμορφο και γαλήνιο μέρος πολύ όμορφα.Ο φωτισμός αυτή την ώρα της ημέρας είναι καταπληκτικός.Μου αρέσει και το μαύρο πλαίσιο,ταιριάζει απόλυτα.

Hi Mpampis,

Nice afternoon photo..can clearly recognize the warmer light and longer shadows. I like the clouds which seem to be so high above. Good shadows and highlights. Fine sharpness. Some extra foreground details would have been good though, to add more interest.
Anyhow, well done.

Mpampis,my dear old friend,
What a great situation you had ! the side light,the clouds in the sky and your POV,all are finehere.
in fact you did it very well,a peaceful place you show us by the great shot ,I enjoy the result,excellent sharpness and details and a nice playing of the light and shadows specialy in the montain there.

Καλημέρα Μπάμπη.
Προσωπικά μου αρέσει η φωτογράφηση απο το επίπεδο της θάλασσας, γεμίζοντας με αυτήν ένα μεγάλο μέρος του κάντρου. Αύτο νομίζω σε κάνει να αισθάνεσαι κατά κάποιον τρόπο ότι είσαι μέσα στο θέμα.
Εξαιρετικός ο απογευματινος φωτισμός έδωσε όμορφες φωτοσκιάσεις, κάνοντας το βουνό ανάγλυφο και την θάλασσα να έχει όλες τις διαβαθμίσεις του μπλέ.

Μπάμπη καλησπέρα

φοβερή η σύνθεση σου αν και απο χαμηλά όπως περιγράφεις, σου βγήκε πολύ καλή
οι τόνοι παρα τη δύσκολη απογευματινή ώρα σου βγήκαν πολυ θετικά επισης
μια μικρή ένσταση ως προς το φωτισμό, επειδή τη τόνισα λίγο στο PS δοκίμασε να ανεβάσεις λίγο το brightness και βάλε για contrast τη τιμη της brightness/2, πιστεύω θα σου αρέσει και εσένα πιο φωτεινή
