On my way to Sitia by car.
At first, the wind generators project was one more reason for the locals to protest because it destroyed the pure image of nature, it was like a visual pollution.
Aeolian energy though proved to be much more important than that, socially,economically and a critical project for environment's good.
In the old days people protested for the wind mils as well anyway,because it was a creation outside nature's field. |
