Photographer’s Note
Kastellorizo is the smallest inhabited Greek Island in the Dodecanese group, less than 5 km off the south coast of Turkey, about 100 km east of Rhodes.
There are however many smaller islets in the area. Kastellorizo has been called different names in its history including, Castelrosso (the French called it Chateau-Roux), Castello Rosso or Castel Rosso, and Castel Ruggio.
Its name was given by the medieval Knights of Rhodes and was inspired by its towering red cliffs rising from the sea which appear to be a medieval castle from a distance. Its ancient name is Meyisti or Megiste.

Hi Jose!
Though Katelorizo is very small, it is a very charming and picturesque island. Its beauty and its architectural style, which is very typical for the smaller dodencanesian islands, are depicted very well here.

Hello Jose,
A great picture of a beautiful summer destination! The water is incredibly blue and the houses are so colorful! Good exposure to show details on the bright houses. I think the horizon line is slightly tilted but it doesn't distract from the beauty of the picture. Thanks for sharing!
With Friendly Regards,
Eddie

Jose,
Great composition and POV framing this nice little village with the blue of the water and sky. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. You have given us a nice horizontal line running from the water at the left side to the hill on the right.

Asa

Hola Jose!
Felicidades!
Un saludo,
Hercules
